FBCW Early Learning Center
is a ministry of
First Baptist Church of Woodbridge.
Our mission, in partnership with parents, is to encourage the spiritual, physical, social and mental development of each child through an educational program that places Christ at the center of all things.
We are committed to providing the children with a Christian foundation based on God’s Word and the security of knowing that they are loved as children of God.
FBCW Early Learning Center provides developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a Christ-centered environment.
We believe every child is a unique gift from God.
Programs Offered
September through May
Half-Day Preschool Classes for children ages 1-5.
Regular Class Hours: Mondays: 9:30am - 12:45pm
Tuesdays - Thursdays 9:30am - 12:30pm
16-24 months Classes:
Monday / Wednesday Tuesday / Thursday
Two Year Old Classes:
Monday / Wednesday Tuesday / Thursday
Three Year Old Classes:
Monday / Wednesday Tuesday / Thursday Monday - Thursday (4 days)
Four Year Old / Pre-K Classes:
Monday - Thursday (4 days)
Extended Class Hours: Mondays: 9:30am - 2:15pm
Tuesdays - Thursdays 9:30am - 2:00pm
Four Year Old / Pre-K Class:
Monday - Thursday (4 days)
Transitional Kindergarten Class:
Monday - Thursday (4 days)
Curriculum
Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is developed incorporating the Brain-Based Curriculum, Zoophonics, Doctor Yum Preschool Adventure, and Learning Without Tears.
Each day includes opportunities for a variety of learning experiences. Special Programs include STEAM, Music & Creative Movement, and Library classes. In addition, we have Chapel each month when we spend time in worship and learn Bible truths.
Lunch Bunch
This class allows your children to eat lunch, play games, read stories and do crafts while learning Spanish. It is offered Monday-Thursday at 12:30-2:00 p.m. for children registered in our 2 year old, 3 year old, Pre-K, and Transition classes.
Lunch Bunch classes are priced according to reservation and usage.
Summer camps
Summer Camps during select weeks in June and July are available on a weekly basis.
Summer Camp hours are 9:30am - 1:00pm Monday through Thursday.
